Fourslide Stampings

At Springfield Spring & Stamping, we manufacture a broad range of precision-engineered metal stampings for a diverse cross section of industries using the versatility of the fourslide machine stamping process.

Fourslide machines are different than progressive power presses, in that the forming of the fourslide metal stamping can be partially formed in the machine’s die set section with additional forming outside of the die set. This is all done in an integral forming process at tooling costs significantly less than progressive power press stamping.

Springfield Spring & Stamping’s 28 fourslide stampings machines can produce components from flat strip, round wire and shaped wire materials. All our fourslide tooling design is produced in-house using state-of-the-art CAD software and in-house Wire EDM, which means our fourslide produced stampings are manufactured to customer specifications.
